I just dug up this photo recently after forgetting about it for years.. the sign was up forever at the corner of El Camino and Castro in Mountain View, and it was a sleepy, south bay sort of mystery for me and my friends to wonder why -- What were they thinking?? Wouldn't it have been worth a few bucks to fix it? It was like this for at least a decade. Didn't it hurt the shop's, uh, credibility? Or maybe it only hurt their credibility with copy editors. Now the shop isn't there anymore so we'll never know. Oh well..
